An Original

I mentioned original music in the last post and it got me thinking; we played an original live for the first time last weekend. It was “Edge of Sunshine” that we’ve jammed on a few times during practice. At Henry’s suggestion and encouragement we played it as the last song at the end of the first set and it was so cool to look out and see people grooving to it. As we ended the song I heard a few approving whoops and applause. I have to tell ya, when you create something and it connects with another human being, it’s a special feeling. I think we’ll keep it in the set list.
